Glorious Train: Ode Poem

Greetings, fellow people beware; intersection is nearing.

Stop early, not late.
Time is tight
Tick-tock, Tick-tock.

Rusty rails lock in wheels
Speed causes sparks,
Tracks run cross country.

Hail,
Heavy engines,
Growling, gears jam.

Lugging weight of cargo
Speed slows suddenly.

Hurry!
Andalay!
Let’s go!

Crunch coal,
Incinerate fire,
Energy attacks.

Angry cars break hard,
Red and white bars
Slant parallel
Barriers blocks roads.

Approaching, I come;
Cross traffic stops, I go.

Steam slips through a cylinder pipe;
Sounds hark.

I say “Hello”
Then “Goodbye”
While passing.

Smoke lingers hovering with echoes vibrating.

I was here
And now
I am far gone.
